Touch-Gesture-Motion Conference to Feature Ocular's Senior Vice President of Engineering

David Nolte will present on the topic of robust touch panels and overcoming design challenges

DALLAS, TX (November 1, 2011) - IMS Conferences, a division of IMS Research, is hosting the first annual Touch-Gesture-Motion (TGM) Conference in Austin, TX.  The two-day conference, in collaboration with conference chair and Veritas et Visus' publisher Mark Fihn, will take place on Dec. 7 and 8.

Day one of the TGM conference will be dedicated to touch technologies and as a leader in the touch industry, Ocular has been asked to present.  Ocular's Senior Vice President of Engineering, David Nolte, will utilize his 30 years of industry experience to discuss applications for projected capacitive touch panels as well as how to overcome design challenges posed by these robust interfaces.

IMS Conferences and the Veritas et Visus publication are well-known throughout the embedded technology industry.  Hosting an event on the topics of touch, gesture and motion are extremely relevant to current industry happenings and increased customer demand.  IMS Conferences and Veritas et Visus also co-hosted the Future of Touch and Interactivity Conference during SID DisplayWeek in May 2011; the event was a huge success.  Based on the positive feedback received from the Future of Touch and Interactivity Conference, it was clear that another industry event featuring touch technologies as a main topic was a must.
