Ocular can design and manufacture standard and custom sizes of our projected capacitive touch panels for almost any application, including those that are deployed in the harshest environments. Ocular has designed and manufactured display-centric solutions for a number of demanding applications, including the industrial, marine and automotive industries. Based on extensive experience in manufacturing touch panels and LCD technologies, Ocular can quickly identify and customize the right display technology for demanding applications and optimize the optical characteristics to produce a high quality display image.

Ocular currently has a standard portfolio of TRUE multi-touch projected capacitive touch panels ranging in size from 3.5″ to 17.0″. Standard TRUE Multi-Touch panels are also available with a pre-integrated soda-lime cover glass, also known as the Crystal Touch: TRUE Multi-Touch PLUS product line. Standard sizes of the PLUS product offerings range from 3.5″ to 18.5″ diagonally and the cover glass provides an additional layer of durability.

Crystal Touch, Ocular’s premier line of projected capacitive touch panels, is extremely durable, scratch resistant and designed to function in extreme temperatures. The all-glass construction of Crystal Touch provides a robust touch solution with enhanced optical clarity and durability. Ocular also provides Display Enhancements that can add additional durability to our already extremely robust designs.

Some applications have higher durability requirements than others. Ocular will work directly with the customer’s design team to create a solution to meet standards and requirements for rugged applications. Custom sizes are also available and can be manufactured to fit the end application. Additional ruggedization can be a result of Ocular’s value-added Display Enhancements, such as cover lens material, thickness and coatings, provided by Ocular.
