Ocular has over twenty-five years of display enhancement expertise. From cover lens integration to high brightness LCD backlighting systems, Ocular has worked with a wide variety of customers in multiple industries to enhance touch-enabled and display product offerings.

With increased demand for products with a clean, zero-bezel, industrial look, Ocular manufactures all-glass, projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panels with a high tech, leading-edge look, to meet these demands. Along with durability, performance and clarity, Ocular’s Crystal Touch PCAP touch panels provide significant design flexibility and have been used in many cover lens configurations, including zero-bezel designs.

For zero-bezel designs, some applications use the top layer of the sensor as the interface. However, some applications require a cover lens which can enhance durability and increase optical clarity. Ocular provides a variety of cover lens options, such as soda-lime glass, super glass or plastic. For applications that do not require a cover lens, Ocular has a standard line of Crystal Touch: TRUE Multi-Touch panels available. If an application requires a cover lens, Ocular also has a standard line of touch panels with a pre-integrated, soda-lime cover glass: Crystal Touch: TRUE Multi-Touch PLUS.

To enhance the cover lens even more, protective coatings can be applied. A variety of cover lens coatings are available today, such as chemically strengthened, anti-glare and anti-reflective glass coatings.

We have also designed high brightness LCD backlighting systems, heater-bonded LCDs for systems that must operate at extremely low temperatures, shock-mounted LCDs and encapsulated LCDs for harsh environmental operating applications.
