The Crystal Touch EDGE provides a single-layer PCAP solution for smaller devices that have limited space inside the enclosure. As part of the Crystal Touch family, the EDGE products are also an all-glass touch solution that is scratch resistant and won’t deform after frequent use. Ideal for applications such as handheld scanners and inventory controls, the Crystal Touch EDGE provide design flexibility with its Chip on Flex (COF) assembly, reduced thickness and is available with or without cover glass. The single FPC and COF design eliminates an external board that would take up additional space within an enclosure.

This single-layer solution is durable due to the all-glass construction and also offers increased transmissivity. The enhanced optical clarity allows for a more clear interface that can also be customized to work outdoors in sunlight and to reject false touches often caused by water droplets and spray.
