Ocular's Largest Projected Capacitive Touch Panel Makes Its Public Debut at SID Display Week in Los Angeles
Hundreds of attendees visited Ocular's booth to view the newest Crystal Touch TRUE Multi-Touch panel
Dallas, TX (June 24, 2011) -- With attendance up 10% from last year, SID 2011 Display Week provided the perfect venue for Ocular to show its largest TRUE multi-touch projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panel to fellow professionals in the high-tech industry. Announced prior to the show, Ocular's booth allowed Display Week attendees the opportunity to interact with Ocular's PCAP products. The newest and largest Crystal Touch panel measure 15.6-inches diagonally and allows for up to 16 simultaneous touch points. The 15.6-inch Crystal Touch is the largest touch panel in product currently using Atmel's maXTouch™ controller.
Hundreds of attendees visited the Ocular booth during the three-day exhibition to view the 15.6-inch touch panel. “We were very happy with the level of excitement and buzz in our booth during the show,” said Phil Spivey, President and CEO of Ocular. “We met fellow exhibitors, customers, potential customers and colleagues. The media took a liking to our booth as well. In addition to the 15.6-inch demonstrations, Ocular's booth featured monochrome and graphic LCD displays, optical bonding capabilities and multiple sizes of the Crystal Touch TRUE Multi-Touch panel offerings. Additional activities that Ocular participated in during Display Week were the Exhibitor's Forum and the Touch and Interactivity Conference. Larry Mozdzyn, CTO, presented at both forums.
