Philips Healthcare Announces Ocular as Touch Panel Supplier
Touch panel industry leader to supply touch panels for next generation patient monitoring device
ANDOVER, Mass., and DALLAS, Texas (November 16, 2010) – Philips Healthcare division announced today that Ocular LCD, Inc., an industry leader in projected capacitive (PCAP) touch technology, will provide the touch panel assemblies for Philips’ next generation patient monitoring device. Phillips will incorporate PCAP user interface panels, designed and manufactured by Ocular, as well as utilize additional enhancements and customization services that Ocular provides.
