Ocular’s CTO Provided Industry Expertise at the DisplaySearch Emerging Technologies Conference 

Larry Mozdzyn presented Ocular’s market findings at prestigious industry event   

Dallas, TX (August 24, 2010) –After receiving an invitation from Dr. Jennifer Colegrove, Director at DisplaySearch, Ocular’s CTO presented alongside fellow industry experts at the Emerging Technologies Conference, held in San Jose, CA on August 19th.   

Ocular has been an industry leader for over 20 years and was asked to discuss their perspective on current market trends and the future of touch technology, specifically the growth of projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panels.  Ocular has extensive knowledge and expertise with designing and manufacturing both single and true multi-touch PCAP panels.  Providing touch solutions for product designers that desire the leading-edge look and feel of a touch panel as well as the increased functionality, Ocular has discovered that touch panels are now expected by consumers and are being incorporated throughout multiple industries. 

After presenting Ocular’s findings to the audience, Mr. Mozdzyn was interviewed by BNET TV to give a synopsis of his presentation. 

Dr. Jennifer Colegrove introduced the touch series by discussing what she has found through her research of the touch panel market.  This research proved the profound impact that touch is having on product manufacturing and the continued growth of the PCAP touch panel.  According to Mr. Mozdzyn, “Dr. Colegrove’s research provided quality insight into our industry and confirmed that the touch panel interface is here to stay.
