Ocular’s Newest and Largest True Multi-Touch Panel Makes Successful Debut at SID Display Week
Ocular’s true multi-touch products gain attention at international exhibition
Dallas, TX (June 21, 2010) — The international symposium, seminar and exhibition, hosted by the Society for Information Display (SID), attracted an audience of product designers and top industry professionals for Ocular to unveil their Crystal Touch: Multi-Touch 10.1-in multi-touch unit on display, their largest panel size offering to date. Thousands of technology experts gathered in Seattle the week of May 23rd to participate in the 48th annual Display Week and view the future of technology.
Touch technology was highlighted throughout the conference series and touch devices had a major presence on the show floor. With touch displays being one of the most talked about topics, Ocular left a lasting impression on attendees with their Crystal Touch: Multi-Touch display. Attendees at Display Week included editors and industry analysts from credible publications and research firms. ECN was among those intrigued by the Crystal Touch: Multi-Touch demo and included Ocular in their write up of the show in an article titled “A Remarkable Display: SID 2010.” Also featured on the ECN website is a video of Phil Spivey, President and CEO of Ocular, giving a demonstration of the Crystal Touch: Multi-Touch, 10.1-in panel.
SID 2010 was remarkable and Seattle provided a quality venue for technology professionals to network and gain insight into the future of the industry. Utilizing advanced projected capacitive technology, Ocular’s true multi-touch panel allows for up to ten touch points and the capacitive glass increases clarity, durability and sunlight readability.
